Kenneth King commenced private practice social work in 2018 and established Journeys Continue in March 2019 to provide local support services for people in the Bungendore and surrounding region. He recognised the importance of local familiarity when coordinating and linking people to appropriate services and supports. He is happy to be sharing his experience and skills in the local area to support his neighbourhood.

Kenneth has been an accredited social worker since 2000 and has over three decades of experience working in the Human Services sector, primarily in the areas of Aged Care, Disability and Carer support.

His professional experience has centred in and around the Canberra region - both for government and non-government organisations.

His work has included providing independent person-centred support coordination to individuals and their support networks. He has also developed several community support services for people with specific needs - including mature carers, new dads and carers support groups and networks.

Kenneth has experience with emergency, traumatic and life changing experiences, having volunteered as a Rural Fire Service Fire Fighter and now a Rural Fire Service chaplain. Additionally, he assists individuals and families whose care requires a palliative care focus approach. This includes facing and addressing the many challenges of end-of- life experiences.
